We routinely use thermal imaging techniques as a predictive tool to ensure the general health and efficiency of equipment installed and/or maintained by ACE.

As an integral part of predictive maintenance this is a valuable tool in detecting problems that could become major failures in the future. The amount of radiation emitted by an object increases alongside rises in temperature. Therefore thermography gives us a unique insight into what might be happening in areas not visible to the naked eye.

Thermal imaging is non-destructive

This highly effective non-destructive testing technique creates easy to understand pictures through non-intrusive, non-contact mapping of thermal patterns. Increases in temperature are indicative of subtle changes within equipment or power supplies. They reveal heat signatures for a multitude of otherwise hidden problems.

At ACE, we utilise thermal imaging as a routine element of our service and maintenance procedures. This verifies operational health and ensures future reliability.
