Through our Cool & Heat subsidiary, a fully certified heating and air conditioning company. The ACE Group provides all aspects of air conditioning installation, maintenance and refurbishment services to customers nationwide, including national catering chains, facilities management companies, hotels, schools, universities, hospitals and power stations.
Keeping air conditioning in peak operational order makes a vital contribution towards improving energy efficiency. Regular maintenance will reduce energy bills and cut down the carbon footprint of a building as well as ensuring optimum performance, comfort and reliability.
We operate inline with SGF20 standards: Inspection of air conditioning systems, indicating potential improvements to existing systems, the benefits of replacing less energy efficiency systems with new, improved units, helping owners and facility managers to comply with statutory obligations and duties of care in operating and maintaining air conditioning systems. In addition, where required, we can provide TM44 reports.
We install major leading brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industry and Fujitsu Air Conditioning Systems and provide qualified service and maintenance for all makes and models of air conditioning systems.
We also maintain digital records of all servicing and maintenance work to help our customers comply in full with current legislation.
From small contracts and ad hoc call outs through to nationwide service and maintenance contracts, both reactive and planned, our services are carried out by trained engineers and include priority two hour response options.
Our air conditioning services include:-
Close control air conditioning units
For critical applications where high precision air conditioning is required to maintain temperatures within a set range, such as IT server rooms, operating theatres, data centres, laboratories and cleanrooms the Ace Group can install close control units (CCU).
Efficient and effective air conditioning systems developed for offices, hotels and public buildings, installing ducted ceiling fan coil units, floor standing, ceiling cassettes, window, wall and split systems.
Industrial Air Conditioning
For warehouses, factories and power stations, often incorporating heat recovery systems for optimum comfort and performance.
Applications for public, commercial and industrial premises, providing fresh air and improved climate control combined with energy savings by reducing heating and cooling requirements. Heat recovery applications range from single rooms through to entire buildings and industrial processes.
Air Handling Units and HVAC systems
Versatile, energy efficient solution for a wide range of applications.
We install and maintain high capacity water-cooled AC chillers with low global warming potential (GWP), using the latest compressor technology.
Removal of R22 units, replacement with approved F-Gas units, safe disposal of old units.
We install and maintain F-Gas (fluorinated gas) air conditioning units, in line with current legislation, which are ozone-friendly, energy efficient, and safe for users and the public due to their low levels of toxicity and flammability.
Calibration and Certification
Calibration and certification of existing air conditioning units in line with current legislation.
Vehicle Fleet/Parts Stock
ACE Group installation and maintenance services are supported by a large nationwide vehicle fleet equipped with a comprehensive range of parts, enabling service engineers to effect first time fixes in a high percentage of call outs, keeping customer downtime to a minimum. Excellent access to all distributors for support in providing additional parts and equipment where required further enhances this capability.
All engineers are manufacturer trained and equipped with HSE Safety Passports in line with our commitment to safe working practices. F-Gas training and relevant NVQs are part of our investment in people initiatives. Additional training includes PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association) and IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) training for working at heights.
