This week ACE have commenced a new installation project at one of the UK’s leading glass manufacturers based in South Yorkshire.
A complete turnkey project…
We are providing a complete turnkey project which will see the compressed air supply for the recycling plant on site fully upgraded. It will include a new variable speed compressor, downstream equipment as well as connecting pipework, ductwork and electricals. Scheduled to take around two weeks, the new compressor should be installed and commissioned before Christmas.
The recycling plant currently has a 55kW compressor in place but due to the customer upgrading the plant equipment there will be an increased demand for air. Initially we monitored the system to log the current air usage and project the increased usage with the new equipment. The site provided a maximum demand figure and from there our Sales Team and Install Team were able to size up an ideal unit based also on the electrical supply available and energy efficiency requirements.
Upgrades all round
Our dedicated team of expert installation engineers are due to install a Sullair LS 90VS Compressor, a reliable and durable machine with increased efficiency thanks to its variable speed drive and energy efficient air end as well as a dryer, OWS, pipework, ductwork and electrical work.
This project follows another recent upgrade to the site vacuum system which was rejuvenated with Sullair Variable Speed Vac Pumps. The 2nd Vac Pump was just recently commissioned by our team. The site was originally running four pumps and by halving the consumption they will benefit from significant energy savings.
